OT: Movies/TV Shows

Wait I'm not a nerd so I don't watch game of thrones but who gives a fuck about the ending? Why would it have any greater meaning to your enjoyment of a program than episode 1 or 12 or 30?

I dunno. If a girl you loved for several years ends up cheating on you with your best friend, does that not color your enjoyment of everything that came before? If you devour a big bowl of delicious soup only to find on the last few spoonfuls that there's a severed rat head at the bottom of the bowl, does that impact the experience that came before? If you watch all the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and only at the end find out that Bradley Cooper voiced the racoon and also starred in Silver Linings Playbook, does that not ruin the whole franchise?

If I have a 10 year relationship with someone and 9.9999 years of it were fantastic then nothing is gonna change that. If the last part of the relationship is me catching her getting gangbanged by 17 well hung dudes then I'd say "wow that sucks" but the last 9.9999 years of my life we're still phenomenal.

Are you unaware that all's well that ENDS WELL?

I think the gangbanging would make most people feel bad about their choice of life partner.

But they had a blast before that very moment. Just like you had a blast watching a quality television program before the disappointing ending! If it ruins the whole show for you that must suck ass tbh. I feel bad.

I think you are in the minority here, sir!

Most would not look back fondly on their years with a person who cheated on them, or on a series that did a disservice to all of its characters in the end.

You don't have to look back fondly on it. The television program provided hours and hours of entertainment for you. You loved her. You loved your time with her. You had the time or your life. The last episode was shit but not recognizing the quality of the entire series is being purposely blind to obvious genius. .

I can acknowledge all the seasons up to the bad one were good, but the bad ending taints the entirety of it. Every time you look back on it, you remember that it ended badly.

Yours is definitely the healthier outlook, but save your pity and know that everyone except Zeke hates GOT for what it did to them.

Thor: Love and Thunder was entertaining enough. They seemed a little more interested in making a comedy than anything. There were definitely a good amount of laughs and the action and fights were okay. Not as good as Ragnarok, but not bad.

Christian Bale was really good as the baddy.
