OT: Movies/TV Shows

Nope, just breathing fire in any old direction, happens to be where the throne is exactly - oh, and after the first general torching, then a very focused, pinpointed melting down of the throne. But life is so random, even in Westeros.

I regret having watched this garbage scene again to confirm my memory of it.

Just enough random fire breathing to melt the thing completely. No more, no less. Stops breathing fire and flys away as soon as he's (accidentally) melted it.

Fuck eveeyone who made decisions for those final two seasons.

Just fucking do a Season 9 that's really, really well done, where Season 8 just goes down as a shit season in an otherwise magnificent show rather than how it ends. I might be able to live with that.

Pretty sure that is what the jon snow spin off will attempt

the fact that Jon Snow became the most popular character on the show, when he was the worst, makes me very sad.

Spinoff probably doesn’t address the other GOT characters, just new ones on his adventures north. And will go on for more than one season. They’ll leave GOT broken.
GRR is involved and he may want to fix GoT.

Remember he wanted them to do a bunch more seasons of GoT.

There were not that many characters still alive and not like we have seen these actors doing things that would make them be too big for a GoT return.

And HotD is really all about Jon being the prince that was promised.

Dany was by far the worst main character, especially after book and season 1. Just shit. Jon and Arya were the two most interesting in the books.

Jon was a dumb naive shit from start to finish. And Kit Harrington is the worst.

Dany was pretty great, with layers and darkside.

Arya was always the best. She should have a spinoff.

The book character of Jon was great. Agreed that kit was ungood.

Dany was soooo boring. It is obvious that Martin had no clue what to do with her for the last 5 books.

Arya is the best in both the book and show world.

The show improved on Tyrion the most by ignoring his acting years.

I hated Dany from day one. Probably had to do with the fact that I think Emilia Clarke is shit. The character itself was written well, until of course the dramatic 180 shift in personality on the five yard line.

Arya was a good character, actress was pretty decent, but she was cast when she was a kid and they probably thought she'd grow to be a non-midget, so it added to the shittiness of the NK killing that it ends up being a 4 foot petite acrobat that did him in.

As for my faves, I think Jamie was probably the one I thought was the best, deepest, most interesting character. And Nik played him perfectly. Again, fucked by the stupidest ending for his character, but didn't take away from the fact that I loved his story and his character.

Next up, Prince Oberyn. Pedro Pascal was fucking amazing, and the character was awesome. I fucking lost my shit when it turned out his stay was a brief one. The injustice of that gnaws at me every time I think of that fucking classic scene!
