OT: Movies/TV Shows

Hated this season of White Lotus. Just a silly soap opera dressed up with high production values amid a beautiful setting.
I get it, I guess... but who doesn't like a soap opera with sexy people, and murder etc. Also, that's not set in a magical realm with dragons and shit.

I'll take looking at hot italian women every god damn day of the week and the previous season had Alexandra Daddario and Sydney Sweeney... YES PLEASE.

The last few weeks, on the same channel they show Cheers, WKRP comes on right after, and I've never really seen it so I just let it play in the background while I do other things, and it kinda sucks. Not sure the appeal. It's not in the stratosphere of a Cheers, and I can name 30 shows off the top of my head that I'd prefer to watch.

LOL...

As if "I love that show because the girls are hot" criteria wouldn't apply to a thousand other shows.

Honestly I'm not sure he's not the best droid in star wars history.
Yeah, him and "K" (Rougue One) might be the 2 best. That said, C3-PO was pretty funny at times and way ahead of his time. A gay droid, in 1977? Pretty good.

As far as sitcoms go I only rank Seinfeld higher.
Cheers had fantastic character development. So many great, memorable characters.
It's always been at the very top of my list. Seinfeld, Cheers, MASH, are probably the top 3 network sitcoms ever. Pretty interchangeable.

I think every great sitcom dealt with serious issues. Sometimes it was cleverly written in, sometimes bluntly. (All in the Family's racist main character being wrong all the time, or one time events like the stampede at The Who concert.

...and I haven't mentioned Seinfeld, just thought we'd already acknowledged it/
