So his torso was crushed and the right side of his chest collapsed. Not sure if the leg is an issue or not.

I was really looking forward to 1899 after loving Dark so much. It had some great scenes, and the acting was very good... but it just wasn't very good. The ending was super unsatisfying. If they do a second season I will watch, some explanations could change my opinion. As a stand-alone though, no bueno.

Not sure if you guys saw Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, that Nic Cage flick that came out last year, but I saw it earlier and it was legit awesome. One of my favorite movies of the past few years.

It's been announced it's not continuing. I liked it, but I like the weird Lynchian shit and that's not for everybody.

Yeah, I just read that after posting... that sucks. As disappointing as it was... I think a season 2 would have explained a lot.

yeah I did. and agree that on the whole 1899 wasn't as compelling

I watched the Weird Al "biopic" over the holidays and it was pretty good. Like everything Weird Al, this biopic was really a parody biopic but it was well done.
