I believe they went hoping they'd get to see G.I Joe and Big Jim tag-team Barbie....turns out it wasn't that kind of movie.

I semi-watched the Snyder cut of Justice League, skipped through a lot of it, and...wasn't this supposed to be better?? Haha.

What a pile of shit. Logical issues with almost every scene in the movie. And sheesh, Gal Gadot is such a bad actress. Really would love for people to figure out Jesse Eisenberg is fucking awful (which I think they pretty much have lately). And Leto's Joker honestly couldn't be more lame and annoying. Can't believe WB shelled out more to have a second version of this horrific film out there.

I went to see Oppenheimer on Friday and it did not disappoint. No movie made by Christopher Nolan has ever disappointed me, come to think of it. And once again he exceeds expectations.

When I arrived at the cinema, the lobby was full of women in their 20's, 30's and 40's wearing hot pink dresses with stripper heels preparing to see the Barbie movie. It's clear that we're dealing with a cult of which I was heretofore unaware.

At first, I had no interest at all in seeing Barbie. But any movie that makes incels, male chauvinists and fascists froth at the mouth with this much rage and hatred has to be good.

I don’t watch many movies and I think the last time I went to a theatre was to see Schindler’s List. However, most of the Barbie reviews I’ve heard or read have been quite positive. I’m almost persuaded.

No spoilers here but saw Oppenheimer last night. Pretty damn good. First hour was maybe a tad slow-paced but sure made up for it after that and some really stellar performances.

My gf and her friends and a bunch of kids saw Barbie yesterday. Kids loved it. Parents were mixed but they didn’t think it was “too woke” whatever that means

I opted for Spiderverse — very close to perfect from my perch
