OT: Movies/TV Shows

I thought Oppenheirmer was fantastic, all be it a little slow getting off the ground, and i highly reccomend seeing it in IMAX

Barbie was also fantastic and absolutely everything i expected and wanted it to be.

I thought aside from oppenheimer, it had horrible character development. All Batman films were far better developing them.
The Blunt and Pugh roles were so one-dimensional and throw-away characters We knew nothing about them. Of there's some guy dressed as Albert Einstein, (at least it wasn't Anthony Hopkins). A lot of massive distractions in the 3 hour film.
"Intersteller" was an intelligent, thought-provoking film by Nolan. This is not.
*edited for spoilers. P.S Bruce Willis was a ghost the entire film*

Florence Pugh was anything but one-dimensional, especially in IMAX.
😜

I didn't see Midsommer. Was she also naked in that one?
No. But damn, her acting was so good. one of my fav horror films in recent years. Of course come Oscar time they gave her a nom for the period drama "Little Women" instead because they felt bad they couldn't nominate her for Misommer.

Little over a month until season 2 of WoT starts and I couldn't be less excited.

Did find a gem of a series on audiobooks though. The Malazan series by Steven Erikson has a decent story so far and the narration has turned out to be absolutely incredible. On book 3.
