I like how you talk crushes with Cavill, but then mercilessly pimp out Jake Gyllenhall and Roadhouse.

Just how badly did you want to be stuck in that bubble with him?
 
Cavill has literally never done a good movie. He did a decent job in a tv show tho.

and i'm anti-roadhouse, for the record.
 
Cavill is awesome. UNCLE was great. He was great in Mission Impossible. He was a very good Superman. I'm not even the type to like something like Witcher, and he was very good in that too. Kicks Jake's pouty butt.
 
UNCLE was ok i guess.

all the missions are pretty mediocre and he was just a bit part in one of them.

the supermans are all hella dissappointing of course.
 
There is no such thing as a good Superman, Superman sucks.

Uncle was good, but more fun than good, and i believe could have been played by any non Hugh Grant Englishman.

MI movies are popcorn stuff, really fun, but unless its PSH i see no reason to praise any of the acting in it.

Nah. Superman is just hard to write because he's OP and his best villains/storylines are all baby cartoon alien shit (Darkseid and Brainiac mostly, Doomsday is really only useful as a plot device for the death of supes and isn't really a "character").

DC fumbled by going to death of superman waaaay too fast imo. MoS was a solid intro but Darkseid should have been a 2-3 parter next up and then after that do death of superman once it actually means something. Also let's you end that Cavill run and do something else cool like return of superman right into an all star superman run or something.
 
let's be honest, Zach Snyder is legit terrible.

started off promising with 3 pretty good movies - Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen (well, 300 was pretty shit but at least interesting) - and it's been a big slog of shit since.
