OT: Movies/TV Shows

2 episodes in Mr.Mcmahon is good, although I did know most of the stuff(Although didn't now about the ringboys thing). I like Bret Hart a lot because of how honest he is.

Stone Cold not believing in CTE was the best part
That was nuts. I lost a lot of respect. McMahon also lied non-stop.
Owen Hart's widow has always said Vince refused to let him out of his contract and he wanted to leave badly. Even before they showed teh clip with the gun I laughed when he claimed they never showed guns.

The screw job stuff was decent as well. They usually denied everything so it was good to know. I didn't know about the hall and Nash stuff at msg.

Nothing Vince or Hogan said can be trusted.

Bret saying he actually thought they killed Owen to get back at him is such an unbelievably Bret Hart thing to think, at least he walked all that back

The most fascinating fact/quote comes from Heyman in E5

What was it? I don't recall

Just saw that and was going to post it.

Kris Kristofferson changed my outlook on music when I discovered him in '71 or so. He could say more in one line than most could in a complete song.

R.I.P old timer.
Amazing songwriter. Sunday Morning Coming Down is probably my favorite. Every line in it is perfection and the bold is maybe my favorite line (two lines) ever.

Well, I woke up Sunday morning
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad
So I had one more for dessert
Then I fumbled through my closet for my clothes
And found my cleanest dirty shirt

And I shaved my face and combed my hair
And stumbled down the stairs to meet the day
I'd smoked my brain the night before on
Cigarettes and songs that I'd been pickin'
But I lit my first and watched a small kid
Cussin' at a can that he was kicking
Then I crossed the empty street
And caught the Sunday smell of someone fryin' chicken
And it took me back to somethin'
That I'd lost somehow, somewhere along the way
On the Sunday morning sidewalks
Wishing, Lord, that I was stoned
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
Makes a body feel alone
And there's nothin' short of dyin'
Half as lonesome as the sound
On the sleepin' city sidewalks
Sunday mornin' comin' down
In the park I saw a daddy
With a laughin' little girl who he was swingin'
And I stopped beside a Sunday school
Listened to the song that they were singin'
Then I headed back for home
And somewhere far away a lonely bell was ringin'
And it echoed through the canyons
Like the disappearing dreams of yesterday
On the Sunday morning sidewalks
Wishing, Lord, that I was stoned
'Cause there's something in a Sunday
Makes a body feel alone
And there's nothin' short of dyin'
Half as lonesome as the sound
On the sleepin' city sidewalks
Sunday mornin' comin' down

The Batman was... an interesting mess. I guess you could call it that.

Visually, I thought it was superb, but that's about it. Everything else seemed... off.

Not sure if I saw that are not but I'm looking forward to the new joker

Was bummer to learn the 56 year old Kristoffersen then used this opportunity to sleep with the 25 year old Sinead.

I would not agree Kris wasn’t toxically masculine. He took full advantage when he got the chance and then immediately turned nasty once he’d popped his load…#NoHeroOfMine” - Sinead O’Connor

Nothingv illegal about a 56 year old man, sleeping with a 25 year old. But given the circumstances and her obvious vulnerability at the time it’s certainly altered my perception of this fatherly “good guy gesture” by Kristofferson.

seeing him refer to her as a “little girl” years later, didn’t help either.

Ick.
