You're a top 3 poster and I love you dearly, but I honestly have no idea what you're talking about with this one. The sensitivity thing feels like a projection here. I'm simply laughing over something I find funny and you don't, it's not that deep. I don't find your Facebook memes funny but I don't really care if you do.
 
I'm just referring to the fact that you commonly react to people whenever they say why is this or that posted here, and you remind them it's a message board. You're the anti-censorship guy. But I'm not looking to censor anything. I just find this incessant woke narrative about this film overplayed. I can't believe people have nothing better to do, like post a zillion things a day about their favorite hockey team.
 
I've been wanting to watch the new season of House of the Dragon, but I legit forgot almost everything from the prior two seasons. I tried watching a quick youtube refresher/recap, but I can't bring myself to invest in that. So I said fuck it and saw the first episode last night, and it was pretty well done, and some it came back to me - just so many nondescript characters running around. It lacks that pull that GOT had, but it's still entertaining.

I forgot how much time was supposedly passed between the two shows, so I did some reading on that, and then I wanted to see if the HOD characters were referenced in GOT, and was surprised that they were in a few scenes. In particular there's one scene that Joffrey seems to spoil the whole series with something he reveals!
 
I'm not sure what censorship has anything to do with this. I find it funny when people have serious debates about whether something is woke or not, you find Facebook memes funny. We're all individuals with different tastes. It's ok.
 
I'm way more concerned about my gay incel nazi groyper rabbit hole vs the scary rabbit hole of finding a social media influencer funny.

Total posts I've made about this topic: 1. This is a bizarre reaction to a singular tweet. That is one weak horse. I'm sure this wouldn't be your reaction if it was a tweet of Mamdani being mocked. You'll have to visit the politics thread for that cutting edge content though!
