OT: Movies/TV Shows

Wow, you found Sheen's acting natural...

You sir, are the reason network TV is a complete wasteland. I say this with the intention to help and assist you. Not to mock.

You can't put people's tastes for tv shows and characters they like down and then say "i say this with the intention to help.." blah blah. I would likely find a lot of stuff you are into not very funny. It's subjective. Again, imo Community is total crap and i know quite a few on here who like it...and that's fine. Science people are generally very dull so it doesn't surprise me you'd say that.

Again, you are directly responsible for the absolute horrible state of network television. I hope you can sleep at night.

Good day.

Oh, I hold a degree in Earth Science....I wouldn't call myself a "Science people". I play in the mud with heavy equipment for most of the day.

*i hope you know, I'm only kidding with you.

Well i am in the majority(as again both of those shows have been rated very highly each year) so you can feel good about being one of the "special" ones. Care to recommend a show you enjoy btw? I am honestly interested as i literally agree with Montana's opinion that you shouldn't just settle for one opinion, or one way of looking at things(that's why i try to watch plenty of different shows..some are intelligent, other times i just want to be silly...nothing wrong with that). That Carson guy(politican) is a prime example of someone who can do something amazing..brain surgeries(and well apparently) yet he sounds so dumb in other areas.

Again - hope you know I'm just messing with you. Personally, television doesn't get a ton of my attention, what with a small kid in the house, heavy work schedule, etc. etc.

I do enjoy Big Bang more than I likely should. For network sitcoms, I'm at a loss. I still will watch old episodes of Cheers when I feel the need for a quick view.

Actually laughed my way through Season 1 of Scream. Not sure it's a comedy, but it blurs the line.

The only current network shows that I enjoy are Modern Family and The Goldbergs. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

It's a shame that How I Met Your Mother got kinda lumped in with a lot of the lame network sitcom crap. It's probably the best network sitcom since Seinfeld. NPH was fantastic in that show.

lol, I barely post here(and when i do it's for 10-15 minutes) and i almost never see you post so i couldn't tell.

Cheers was pretty awesome but it feels like a 100 years has passed by(feel so old now). Miss the 90's at times.

That's still pretty cool imo. One of the great things i like about The Bing Bang(aside from those guys having hilarious facial expressions and the way they say things) is that sometimes i learn a thing or two(well i google it and then read about it lol).

My new guilty pleasure is Adventure Time. Just started watching it and it never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Been telling people about this show for years.......it's obviously made primarily for children, but it's infused with enough adult content and such a an enormous dose of nostalgia that it always works for me.

I've seen every episode....yet I'll still throw a bunch of episodes on in the background when I'm doing work around the house, just because I enjoy the art/music so much even if I've already seen it.

Yeah I've seen a lot of references to it on Imgur and Reddit so decided it was time to take a look. I was hooked seconds into the first episode I watched.

An ex-gf got me a pretty sweet Adventure Time coffee table book last year for my birthday, filled with all the art from the show and where they draw their inspiration for various characters etc....it's pretty dope.

Early reviews are it's every bit as good as Daredevil, maybe darker:

The 'Alias' comic book run that it's based on was f*cking brilliant
......I'll be stunned if it's not a phenomenal series.

"Bone Tomahawk" rocks. Kurt Russel fighting cannibals in a western. That's all you need to know.

Somehow it was made for 1.8 million. It looks great and has a terrific cast.

The movie moves very slowly at first. Some might have an issue with that. I found myself not bothered one bit.

I literally came here to post about Bone Tomahawk....

If one likes Westerns, they should give this a go.

Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins were great, and Matthew Fox was great in how awful he was.
