The movie's brilliant.

Just watched the doc series, it's definitely interesting. Obviously if everything the kids say is true then Allen is the Zodiac, just like Don Cheney's comments. Problem is that both are so on the nose that it's hard to believe (especially Cheney). Unfortunately there really isn't a lot of new evidence either, other than the letters. But it's still worth watching for sure, and upped the likelihood that it was ALA a fair bit.

Still a few issues though, many observers don't believe Cheney, and Graysmith got some facts wrong that people still repeat today (and are used in the movie and doc). The fingerprints and handwriting don't match, and Allen doesn't look like the composite either.

Yep. They should have included that in the show. Police were very surprised the handwriting wasn't a match.
