OT: Movies/TV Shows

I use to be annoyed and hate George when the series was on.

RIP character actor Nicky Katt

Dazed and Confused is a classic, at one point for me in High School Boston Public was a big deal, and Boiler Room is a very very good movie.

Only 54, sad
Katt's distant cousin is William Katt, of "Greatest American Hero" fame, who's mother was Barbara Hale, who played Della Street on the old Perry Mason show.

i'm a little worried about that one tbh. don't love the previews.

but i like the director and they took pains to make it in real IMAX so i'll go check it out in that format.

I think they are worried about giving away too much and it affected the quality of the trailers.

I was kind of meh about yet another medical drama where the only difference between it and any other medical drama is the US city in which it is set. I figured The Pitt would just be ER without Chicago or Grey's Anatomy without Seattle. But when i saw that clip where the nut job mother wants to deny he child lifesaving care because she's an ignorant MAGA conspiracy theorist who "does her own research" I was hooked. The writers clearly want to belittle the people I hate so I'm now a fan.

I dont normally get down with medical shows, but The Pitt slaps. It's very very good
Yeah, I was a bit resistant... but being that it's set locally we gave it a shot. It's excellent... binged our way thought 12 episodes and counting in 2 days. Wylie is fantastic.
