OT: NFL thread

Yes, but we had good success with that slant this season, not so much with the corner routes.

Passing it over the middle wasn't the problem. It was a great defensive play . . . and the receiver didn't extend himself enough . . . but by taking that much time on the line between plays they telegraphed the fact that they were going to pass, and not pound Lynch up the middle. But as I said, most of the play calling on that drive was wacky. They got to the 5 yard line by fluke.

P.S. Seattle is the early favorite to win it all next season. They could use a burner on the flank.

Seattle sportswriter : " The Butler did it . "

Small consolation

I reacted pretty much like the first guy. (Note, language in video is PG13):

I figured they got to the 5-yard line by destiny but they destroyed that theory when they attempted to pass the ball into the end zone.

Tom Brady seems like a guy who did prayers on his knees before bedtime each night leading up to the SB and now they have been answered.

I did an Irish jig on the INT. My son was getting it from faux Seabag fans on his team so I was ecstatic he wouldn't have to deal with them.

No one has seen the video and the rumours are all over the place. Some guy calling himself Terez Owens said it would be released today but it wasn't. No one has seen it and the poor man's reputation is being ripped for something no one has seen. Apparently, it is from an incident four years ago if true although again, no one has seen anything.

If I were Dez I would head it off at the pass, claim that it was doctored, that he has been birddogged for money for years and because he no longer associates with those people, they are out to get him etc Force their hand.

More interesting is that TMZ or a show of the sort hasn't gotten the video yet. You know that they would have released it already. It is all very strange.

True, but Adam Schefter says the video exists (though it's not clear if he's actually seen it)

He said in an interview that he has been working on it for six months, said he never saw it. Not sure how he can confirm a video exists when he has never seen it.
