OT: NFL thread

Yes I'm sure that the deflated ball was to blame for Pete calling for a pass play on the one yard line.
Pats have a lower rate of fumbling than any team... even dome teams... despite playing home games in very bad weather and have maintained this since 2007.

Also... the game with baltimore was pretty darn close.

Thats all irrelevant though. Whether the deflated balls help or not.

The pats believed they help. If they didnt believe it was an advantage they wouldnt have set up a whole operation to deflate them contrary to league rules. They felt they needed to cheat before the games were played.

Filed to ESPN: Tom Brady suspended four games, Pats lose 1st round pick in 2016 and a 4th in 2017, and team fined $1 million, per source:

It's a slap on the wrist for Brady. Nice example they made of him.....4 lousy games. Should have been a statement suspension and it was not. What respect I had for him becoming the QB that he is.....is gone for me.

I think 4 games is pretty good. Remember, the league couldn't prove he tampered with their balls. He got suspended for not-cooperating in the investigation. Plus they lost a valuable first round pick.

which made him guilty given the evidence that unfolded. With any luck more players feel I do and nail him every chance they get.

This is perfect. Garrapolo gets some live snaps for quarter of a season to set up transition in 2016, and Brady will be fresh as a daisy when he takes over in week 5 to lead the march to another SB.

No SuperBowl for you, you greedy pig.
