Best thing that could happen for the Cowboys. They actually have some hope now in the NFC Least, unless Romo's replacement is as big a choker as he is.

So Romo's out for 8-10 weeks... If they can win half the games by the time Romo is back, that would be an achievement upon itself. Then again, there's only two games I think the 'Boys have no shot without Romo & Dez. The rest are winnable.

I think Atlanta's a winnable game next week, but that's going to be tough. The game in New Orleans is winnable too, since New Orleans is overrated. The Pats will run over the 'Boys, but whatever. Week 7, the Giants will still suck. Seattle's probably going to have their way with us. And who knows, maybe Romo's back by week 9 against the Eagles and week 10's against Crab Legs' team.

Because of his pedigree in college football there won't be any financial downside to Chip if the Eagles under him are a flop.
