OT: NFL thread

You don't see me crowing about the Packers beating Jay Cutler for the umpteenth time, do you?

Pakers-Bears games mean a lot more to Bears fans. To the Packers, the Bears are about as relevant as a scout team. They beat the Bears so badly and so often nowadays that the games themselves have lost any significance. Aside from the fans there is no Packers-Bears rivalry right now because one team is elite and the other is horrible.

What we saw last night in Dallas was a battle between two more or less equally mediocre teams. If they didn't play in big media markets that game would have been played in the afternoon and only on a regional feed. Football fans have the Cowboys rammed down their throats in the same way that hockey fans have Leafs games rammed down theirs. Then they make it even worse by putting the game on in prime time when there's nothing else to watch.

I didnt post anything nor am I crowing. Simply stating the fact that if the Cowboys had lost in your view it would prove again Romo sucks and can't win. He and his team win and it is meaningless. I also know in your view losing Bryant is meaningless if we lose but other teams losing players will render any Cowboy win against said team meaningless as they beat an injured team.

There is also a way for haters like you to get the Cowboys off prime time and out of national games. Stop watching. You cause your own misfortune by watching a team you hate and whine about being on prime time all the team. They are on because not only does CowboyFan and opposing team fans watch, massive numbers of haters watch hoping to see the Cowboys lose. If the haters stopped watching, our ratings wouldn't be so high.

Seriously I have never gotten the Romo hatred. Undrafted to the top 5 all time passer rating. Never an off field hassle, nice guy, etx Now haters are pulling up video from years ago to try and argue he is a cheater and worse than Brady #wtf

Not sure either, I think he's a target simply because he's the Cowboys QB and he had quite a few memorable meltdowns that provided all the required ammunition for the Cowboys' haters.

Who's having a worse day today than Jamaal Charles?

That was painful to watch last night . . . but funny.

Denver's D has been stellar this year. But yeah, you gotta protect the rock better than that. Earlier, that pick by Talib was sensational.

Cowboys have no chance this weekend. We are missing five starters I believe. Chipper's team is coming off a loss, is at at home. A loss to the Cowboys would put them two games behind already. My only hope is that Sam Bradford is the Eagles' QB.

I would put that on fat Andy. He should have told Smith to take a knee.

The dumbest possible play was the one he chose. A running play from your own 20 with 20 seconds left. What's the point? That biggest knock on "Big Red" when he coached here what that he was a very poor in-game coach. He still is.

Bills have a habit of beating themselves. The real test today is to see if they can keep it together for the entire 60.

And this is what I mean about Buffalo beating themselves. Playing like idiots the SB champs.

Giving NE ridiculous starting field position. I bet Jacksonville could even score with those starting positions.
