OT: NFL thread

He said Romo would not have made a difference the last three games.

And he wouldn't have made any difference in this one either. This is the New England Patriots you're playing, and in case you didn't get the memo they are an elite football team. The Dallas Cowboys, with or without Romo, are a mediocre team. If a mediocre team wins against an elite team it's down to something the elite team did or failed to do. Nothing the mediocre team may have done matters; they were just the lucky bastards who got to take credit for the better team stubbing its collective big toe.

Today's beat-down wouldn't have been any less ugly with Romo under center. As soon as Brady's suspension was overturned this game was engraved in the loss column for Dallas.

Dallas's D was quite solid in the first half. Good team if all their regulars are there.

Like most teams. Buffalo is much better with Sammy Watkins, Karlos Williams and LeSean McCoy. Offense was atrocious without them. Still, luckily, Tennessee is even worse than Buffalo.

I think Dallas hangs with NE with a full roster. Two thirds of the league could not. They would be GRONKED.

Taylor hurt?

Yup, though not official that E.J. is starting, it certainly looks that way.

Rex said he has a sprained ankle.
The ESPN guys are saying sprained MCL.

They do all agree the injury occured on the horsecollar tackle.

A referee just stepped in on behalf of Michael Vick after he took a knee to the head. This is a #concussion trend I'd like to see. #NFL
