OT: NFL thread

just looked ahead, the Vikes get another crack at them in GB for an early January freeze fest.

Might be for the title. Minny has a tough schedule coming up. Seattle at home on Sunday and then onto to Arizona 4 days later.

I thought they'd stumble in Atlanta. Surprised me there.

ARZ and Seattle will be tougher, granted. But with AP going as he is....I like their chances for the division.

PACKERS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what good teams do. They find a way.

(and from a Lions standpoint, it's what bad teams do: find ways to lose)

wow Green Bay, I know a buddy of mine will have a good day tomorrow.

me thinks this unexpected comeback puts a little more pressure on the Vikes. But hell it was unexpected. And Detroit, it couldn't have happened to harder working losers....

Vikes are still underdogs -- just don't have the QB in his prime. I don't care how good your RB is, he can't lead you to comeback victories.

Face mask penalty, schmenalty. At the end of the day "The Lions gonna Lion." They are the epitome of the loser franchise. They have won one playoff game since 1957 - they beat Dallas in 1993. Do you realize how hard it is to actually do that? And they had Barry Sanders for 15 seasons.

nice narrative Krusty and certainly very Lionesque, but detroit actually played pretty well in the 4th. Made it a 2 score lead by converting a clutch 4th and 2 that resulted in a FG. Later they took a lot of time off the clock by converting a 3rd and long.

Oh I know. That's what makes this loss even more Lionesque. And they've had some good teams since 1957 too. So if WeHave thinks the Habs are a pathetic failure since '93 then what are the Lions since 1957? Most of their living fans have seen one measly playoff win in their lifetimes. Somewhere Wayne Fontes is crying/laughing.
