OT: NFL thread

So, who wants to bet that the most overrated and pathetic coach in the NFL (it's not Kelly or Garrett) is going to still be employed next season?

Jeff Fisher- 20 years as NFL coach, 6 seasons over ,500
Chip Kelly- 3 years as NFL coach, 2 seasons over .500

The love & praise that guy has always received makes me scratch my head.

So apparently Chip refused to give up his GM role todsy and was then fired. I believe he knew that would happen and wanted it to happen, as it lets him go elsewhere, likely the Titans, and escape the mess he created here, and get the QB he needs for his offense, Mariotta.

Ryan Fitzpatrick has the ball, at Ralph wilson, on a final drive to try and win the game. Throws an interception. Some things never change.

Redskins are playing as well anyone down the stretch.

I'm reminded of an old car review by Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear. He raved about how good this particular car was and all the features it had but said that it suffered from one major drawback which was so bad that he could not give the car a positive review. Unfortunately, despite all it's good points, the fact remained that it was still made by Vauxhall.

That's pretty much where I'm at with the Skins. It's easy to win games in garbage time or against garbage teams from the NFC Least. But on the big stage against a credible opponent they're going to become the same old Redskins again.
