OT: NFL thread

Re: OT: NFL thread (Superbowl 50)

"probably did enough to win" is not what you want to be said about you if you expect to be considered as one of the all-time greats.

Regardless of today's outcome, Peyton's a top-10 QB of all time.

He's 39 and a shell of himself.

This game will have minimal impact on his overall legacy.

I would see your point if he was in his prime, but he isn't and his abilities are greatly diminished.

Re: OT: NFL thread (Superbowl 50)

Another gift. Both QB's are doing their best to lose this game.

And the snobs see fit to call the CFL game sloppy. This game is so bad it's borderline absurd.

liberate yourself from the false nationalism that has you celebrating 2nd tier football with American rejects and Canadian content requirements.

he's been better than his young stud counterpart in Carolina.

Demaryus Thomas has been awful. Jeez.

Don't even know why they even bother targetting him.

Re: OT: NFL thread (Superbowl 50)

For the last two weeks, I heard nothing but bullshit about "Well, if you don't like Cam Newton, it's 'cuz you got it against a black man in power."

The last 5 minutes of the game are exactly why I'm not a big fan of him: When he isn't able to run it up and when things aren't going his way, he's a petulant child. He's behaving like a chickenshit loser.

He needs to learn to play the white way.
