OT: NFL thread

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

I am not much of a football fan so I hope you can answer me...
A few good friends of mine are Pats fans so I want to drive them crazy by being a fan of a different team. Which team would bug them the most and be in contention?

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Almost Week #2. Kick it off with some humour. Warning, it might be offensive for some...

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Brady making opposing defences looking like Portuguese soccer players. A lot of "injuries" while he runs the no huddle down their throats.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

lol

Serve me up some humble pie. Great comeback by the Bills. They never gave up. (We'll get ya next time.)

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Lions improve to 3-0 with a 26-23 OT win in Minnesota. First win at Metrodome for Detroit since 1997.
Not sure if Lions are a resurgent team or if the Vikings just plain suck... or both?

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Vikings are a recurring nightmare. They have blown 3 straight halftime leads 17-7 vs SD, 17-0 vs Bucs, and 20-0 vs Lions. They follow the same script every time -a ton of stupid penalties, bad coaching calls and ignoring their 100 Million dollar running back (only 5 yds in the 2nd half)

They might as well bench McNabb and start developing Ponder. McNabb makes even the dinkiest pass plays look like the hardest thing to accomplish in pro sports.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

By the way people, start preparing for the apocalypse because I am fairly certain one of the biblical signs was the Bills and Lions both starting 3-0 in the same season.

Ponder is not your QB of the future. I watched him his whole college career as I am a Noles fan and he won't cut it long-term in the NFL.
