OT: NFL Thread

As much as I don't like the call there... I understand why. It worked for the Seahawks last week. I just didn't like going for 2 when both teams had been struggling to make plays offensively. If I'm Buffalo, I take my chances in OT.
Depends on personality, I too like to spread my chances on multiple events, but I also understand others that want to focus on a single event. They also had only went to the red zone 3 times during the whole game and missed their extra point on the previous TD. That might have been their best chance.

My problem with call is that the downside far outweighed the benefit.

Yes if get it, you win so one benefit, but if miss, lose AND you lose shot at division title/home playoff game.

Kicking point (and yes I know they missed one earlier) means no loss, guaranteed one possession in OT unless a 10 minute drive by opponent, and chance for division still alive.

Given Eagles couldn't move risk of losing in OT was low.

Losing on the 2 points conversion or losing in OT has the same outcome.

They went with what they thought was their best chance of winning. It didn't work.

I know I will regret asking but how exactly was it their only shot...
The Bills knew they couldn't win in overtime. Thats why they went for it. Tying it and sending it to overtime was just delaying the inevitable. They needed a quick kill.

And, as it happens, they had it. The receiver was WIDE open. Allen simply screwed it up.

Im guessing it's just the sex, right? Tom obviously isnt looking for a life partner with whom he can have deep conversations. He just wants deep head.
