OT: NFL Thread

He's such an asshole even his own family won't talk to but I respected him for doing what he thought best for himself, even if not how he treated Danica and Olivia

It was wild (and telling) that he couldn’t get anyone close to him to appear in his documentary — just guys currently on his payroll or promoting themselves

That was a fun game to watch. For some reason, I found myself rooting for the Steelers for the first time in my life.
Guess you're too young to remember the Steel Curtain days. Mean Joe Greene, Dwight White, Ernest Holmes, LC Greenwood up front, Jack Ham, Jack Lambert and Andy Russell at linebacker, Mel Blount, Donnie Shell, Mike Wagner and Glen Edwards in the secondary. What a team.

Their glory years started with an illegal catch
It was a righteous catch and the Steelers
dominance was going to happen either way because Chuck Noll was absolutely ruthless. On his first day of his first training camp he told the players that the reason they sucked was simple: because they weren't any good and that he would need to get rid of most of them.

Then he got rid of most of them.

I only wish the Habs had hired that kind of coach and GM 25 years ago.

I remember when you brownnosed him.

Wasn't it Mississippi?
Could have been. Both hillbilly states being propped up by blue states.

I liked him when he win the Superbowl. I started disliking him when he lost the Superbowl, laughed at him when he went to the hapless Jets, then scorned him when he went to Minnesota. In retirement, his life has been just one stupidity after another. He's just a petty criminal with a terminal illness now.
