How is it late? It hasn't happened yet. Public opinion insists on another method. Why was this even considered in the first place when we are spending money on useless other projects in montreal??? Those are some questions we have to ask ourselves.

So count, with Trudeau's new 33% tax bracket for incomes over 200k, how do you feel paying a couple more K a year to help those refugees pay for food? I'm sure all your buddies in the law firm are excited to see their taxes go up, or are they not hippies like you?

Won't it be more like a 4% increase, so like 8k? Going from 29-33
I don't think $2000 is nothing.
No because it is only on income above $200,000.00 after all deductions etc. If say net inc is 220000 you pay 4% on 20000 so 800

Seriously though, what makes harper so smart and accomplished?
The guy worked IT for a while and in a mail room. Then he went into politics. Not exactly the resume of the smartest guy in the room but he's destroyed paul martin, Stephane Dion and Micheal Ignatieff, two of whom I would say we're smarter than he was and one who I would rate just as smart.
That's not how I look at it. $2000 can buy you some very nice items so I would never look at that amount as "nothing," no matter how much I earned, and it's a bad thing to teach your kids, unless you want them to have no appreciation for the value of money.
You also forget he will cut the rate from 22 to 20 for 47000-89000 which offsets part of the high end increase.

It's still too much for my liking.....
I work very hard to keep my business rolling....and I help employ close to 20 people (which is a lot for my domain). I think I do enough for the economy, I don't need to have Trudeau Jr's hands in my pockets (Xpofan, this is where you plug your joke).
Don't sweat it, it's "nothing" according to Count.
P.S. I'm not commenting on whether the policy proposal is a good idea or not . . .
I freely admit financially Harper is better for me although it is silly he sends me $60.00 a month for child care.
Overall, I am the view Trudeau's plan is better for the country. We shouldn't solely on trickle down economics.
