OT: Politics & News... Have at it.

Trudeau is nuts if he makes May his Environment Minister, as some of the tree hugging community has suggested he do. No good can come of that. He'd be giving her a free soapbox to shout from that she hasn't earned and since she's not a party member his control over her would be limited. All he could do if she said something she didn't like would be to fire her which would just make for bad publicity and a lot of finger pointing.

Only way she gets in is if she joins Liberals.

I just skimmed the article, but where does it suggest she'd be a minister? No way that happens, the Liberals have a very deep bench and there's no way they'd appoint an outsider to cabinet. Trudeau would have some might pissed of Liberals to deal with.

Anyway, everyone and his/her dog is being invited, including Mulcair, a certain-to -be-no-show from Reform, and the premiers. There's no story here.

We're hard at work in the transition office! Lots of phone calls and planning. I’m looking forward to what’s next.
