OT: Politics & News... Have at it.

the piling on will begin where they all take a shot at you, expect you to respond to them all, and the feeding frenzy will continue until they exhaust you or you figure they aren't worth the carpal tunnel you get responding.
Or, more likely, because you'll run out of straw trying to defend your indefensible position.

He's a MAGA patsy, not a left wing anything.

Why would anyone on the left want Trump killed when he's winning the election for the Dems? This is just another nothingburger like the previous attempt that Trump can grift off of. The first assassination attempt was in the news cycle for about 2 days. The one on Sunday lasted about 2 hours. Nobody gives a shit about Trump anymore. He's done and MAGA knows he's done. That's why they want to bump him off if they can and turn him into a martyr. It's their only possible path to victory in November.

The call came from inside the house. Republicans are the only ones who stand to benefit from Trump being out of the campaign.
so, in the interest of balance, I've not actually seen anything that would prove or confirm that he was a "MAGA patsy", either.

let me see if I have this straight

a) two people voluntarily offered to die to try and kill a guy running for their party?

b)Secret Service was part of it.

c) nothing got leaked

d) you believe it...
Did Oswald "volunteer" to die? The whole point of a patsy is that they don't find out they're a patsy until it's too late.

Depends on definition of volunteer, given the way you framed the first Trump assassination attempt, Trump was involved, so the guy shooting had to know his role was to die (like how Christ died for your sins and Judas had to be the rat). No 21 year old volunteers to die in that way.

However, in Oswald's case, he was likely a lone gun man, but when he shot Kennedy, he had to know that he would die, either at the spot or the electric chair.

I don't believe for a second that either guy who tried to shoot Trump was anything other than a lone nutter. I think the first guy wanted infamy and this second guy might have been politically motivated in some wacky, convoluted way. Something to do with Nikki Haley and/or Ukraine. He also appeared to be pretty angry about voting for Trump and Trump duping him.

Oswald never shot JFK. He was a patsy.

The second guy, we've found out, never fired a shot at Trump. Never even had a clear line of sight. Unfortunately for the people who planned this, the patsy didn't die. But neither did Oswald...at least not right away. But they took care of him.
