No she is an exceptional black woman who has no time or patience for your bullshit. She doesn't whine about mediocre whiteys, she embarrasses them by showing the world how mediocre they really are.

A black female as successful as Crockett could not get to where she is unless the was exceptional. With or without DEI, a black female still has to be exceptional in order to get a job that mediocre white guys like Ted Cruz take for granted.

If you don't think it matters that fascists are in the process of destroying democracy I don't know what to tell you except to say that it makes a fuck ton of difference who is in power.
 
One man's democrat is another man's fascist and vice versa.

Two alleged democrats (the elder being more of a democrat) invoked enabling acts in Canada allowing massive arrests and freezing of accounts. You saw freezing accounts as warranted and democratic, I saw then as fascist and unnecessary (court agrees with me so far).

I think both Harper and Trudeau's proroguing to avoid defeat in the House as atrocious and undemocratic. You probably think they are ok, at least JT's.

Maybe freedom is an illusion as is democracy and maybe, like treason, fascism is just a matter of dates.
 
In both cases emergency powers were necessary. In the first instance, a provincial cabinet minister was assassinated. Once that happened, all bets were off. As to the Klownvoy, we know that it did not happen organically. It was yet another neofascist astroturf campaign funded by dark money from the US and Russia. We will likely learn in the future that we weren't draconian enough with it.
