Gordon is toxic garbage and everything wrong with the food industry. Even worse is that he's celebrated so much. But let's not tarnish these commentators by mentioning that piece of shit as a comparable.

I think I might prefer Belgium for Italy. Or at the very least I'm indifferent. Neither team frightens me more than Italy themselves. Hopefully last game was a one-off.
 
Tough loss for Portugal.

Belgium completely underwhelming without De Bruyne. That injury could be huge.

Obviously an act, but I still find myself wondering if he's ever regretted anything he's said while in a room full of fire, hot metal, and very sharp knives.

I know that if he talked to me that way I'd probably be in jail.

I don't think it's just for TV...I worked in a fancy place as a student one summer, and was told the head chef made people cry who normally didn't etc. guess it's sort of expected you are a dictator back in the kitchen.
 
Yeah Kenji Lopez Alt (among other people) witnessed Gordon doing some brutally abusive things in the kitchen to some of his cooks. No camera around. If anything his tv persona is more likely toned down. It's a toxic industry in general and he's a part of it.

Oh I know you can take abuse, I'm saying that, like all television, his rants are scripted I'm sure.
 
My son and my niece worked at local place, owner was a awful, would make my niece cry then apologize then do it again. She even warned her cousin but he really wanted a job...
My son didn't last as long, and we still will never eat at The Whistle Stop in Beeton, Ontario
