OT: Soccer thread

Interesting. I knew Beckenbauer was good, but best of all time good? I feel like he doesn't get mentioned as much as he should then.

Beckenbauer is definitely in the conversation.

So here’s a question. What would be the the subs bench? Names like Van Basten, Garincha, Müller (Gerd), Platini, Yashin, di Stefano, Puskas, Eusebio, Best etc.

The other Ronaldo is said to have had the most dominant year of any player… 1997 I think it was. Injuries slowed him down, but yeah, he’s obviously in this conversation.

Imagine being a GK against Real Madrid in the Galaticos era. Beckham, Zidane, Carlos all could ruin your day on a free kick

My own conjecture: Bayern are in the shit and a house cleaning may happen. I expect Davies to be transferred this summer. Not because he’s been in poor form, but I think they might want to build a new core and they will move assets to pay for it.

Wouldn't be shocked to see him at one of the big clubs in the EPL.

Fukk My gunners(arsenal) dropped to 2nd in the english premier league standings! One point behind 1st place man. Man city peaking at the right time and taking over and arsenal is collapsing late in The season after being in first place for most of the year until this week!!!

Was watching a video and TFC is a bottom 10 team in North American sports in terms of all-time winning percentage. Woof.
