I've thought that their roster has been a bit suspect this year tbh. still great, but there's a reason they're trailing barca so much in league. Relying on either past their prime stars or young unproven talent. not much in the way of prime age stars. Vini jr. is good young budding star but not Haaland good.

This is a mediocre Real side that has, in some ways, run its course.

I expect a major retool this summer centred on Mbappe.

I took a look at how Liga, Premier, and Serie A teams did against each other head to head in euro competitions this year and it was pretty much exactly dead even all 3 ways. Not sure there's a huge gap between the leagues anymore.

But ManCity does look a cut above the rest.

I do think that Inter is legit the best team in Serie A this year though, despite the standings, and they handled Spain's #1 team twice in champions league already, so I'm not sure this final won't be a tougher challenge for ManCity than this semi was.

Key for Inter is if talents like Lautaro and Lukaku can keep looking as good as they have recently - like the superstars they looked like a couple years ago.
