OT: Soccer thread

Looks like Tajon is coming to Inter for real next month.

Cuadrado blew his achilles and Tajon is kinda the exact same type of player so should be a perfect fit off the bench.

Pretty huge for Tajon.

Any fee indicated?

Smoke around Davies to Madrid or City.

David is the guy I want at a higher level.

Inter doesn't have a ton of cash so it's probably gonna be a loan with option type deal.

David to AC Milan is a real possibility but that might have been Milan trying to pounce when he was slumping and maybe cheaper. But David is starting to score again so he might price himself out.

I think Tottenham will take another long look at him too…Sonny has been great, but neither him nor Richarlison are the answer and we’re happy to spend for a striker…..timing just might not work out tho. As we prob prioritize CB/AM in January, and striker in the summer.

Isn't Euro soccer like watching a bunch of LA Dodgers mixed up with a ton of Pittsburgh Pirates and a short list of Tampa Rays?

The Dodgers might as well play against each others all the time.

I think it’s inevitable. Between Saudi petro sports washing and MLS partnering with Apple Streaming to buy Messi, it’s clear the euro weenies need to wake up and modernize. I don’t how many teams it will be… 14, 16 maybe 20. But it’s coming.

Looks like Tajon to Inter is a done deal, and he'll get a 5yr deal.

Considering how good Marotta has been at spotting talent, this is a very big compliment to Tajon.

I was sick as fuck so only just finished my watching of the Bournemouth game this morning…but what a team they are. Couldn’t have come away more impressed with their performance, especially with the kind of budget they’re operating under. Awesome team with beautiful form atm…..will have my backing the rest of the year for sure.

….and yeah, I’m more and more convinced by the game that Vicario is the best keeper on the planet right now. You’d be hard pressed to convince me anyone is matching his form right now.
