It is, yeah. This was a fun story though, dating back to the 50s and 60s. Surprised I never heard of it before.That is a hilariously cuckoo for cocoa puffs tinfoil hat conspiracy channel.
This seems like an incredible find.
Pretty cool. The Mars Insight lander detected a large quake on Mars—then a Mars orbiter discovered it was due to a meteoroid impact.
As an added twist, the meteor hit near the equator in one of the hottest parts of Mars and yet still excavated big boulders of water ice:
I’m almost hesitant to post this, with all of the other false starts and delays this launch has experienced.
