OT: The M-Fing Food Thread

Just received a nice email from a popular BLC coffee roaster offering what is, for them, a good deal on their product. I'll just skip to the basics:

☆In the (un)likely event I'd like to buy 5 lbs of product in one fell swoop:
▪︎ 5 lbs of their product $105.00
▪︎ 5 lbs of my favorite SF product $72.50

So now I gotta go retrieve my Mindz NotesTM to sort what fucking trade routes my SF source is using compared to BLC's. (Again.)

In any event, all the coffee I've tried in BLC, outside of my house, has a sour-ish finish and is expensive as hell per serving compared to just about anywhere I go in SF, Portland, or Seattle. And I'm not a snob or at all a sophisticated taster.

Small afternoon rant to bust up my day on the train. 😊
 
Couldn't be me. I don't have kids, and 188 jalapenos would not be seen as a problem if wifey came home with them. Would just mean that our salsa would have a bit more a kick for a month or two. I guess the only real problem would be finding enough tomatillos at a decent price up here to make 20L of salsa verde.
