OT: The M-Fing Food Thread

Thank goodness for the warm weather. Out on the backyard grill the past few nights. Speaking of Greek, my bud brought over 1L of cliche ouzo. Ouch.

Buy some Metaxa and surprise him next time
 
He's brought the Metaxa before. Brought some strange food that I'd never tried before. Very good. Some kind of thin pastry with wild animal meat (can't remember, lol).

Any suggestions on pans (not cast iron)? My parents pans appear to be 50 years old and not in good shape so easy christmas gift.
 
Set of all-clads if it's within your budget. Gold standard for stainless steel. A cheaper and good option is tramontina. Not quite as great of a performer but still really good value.
 
Tasted better than I could capture in a pic.

Got a decent amount of smokiness by wrapping the brisket in double smoked bacon, until the very end, when I broiled the top to create a crust.
