I was going to make a list but I think CH1 stole mine. I'll replace A&W with the 90's version of Pizza Hut though; haven't gone since but heard it got worse and don't care to find out. Never had A&W.

And I've only had Popeyes like once but it was dece. Same with Chipotle.. Though that's probably #5. It was fine.

A&W is like the BMW of burger chains IMO

That CH1 top 5 is pretty, pretty good. I go to McDonald's the most out of that list for coffee purposes.

Shawarma is probably my actual fast food fave.

yeah McD's has by far the best fast food coffee out there, which leads me to them a lot more than I would likely go otherwise

Well they don't have sugar bread and fake chicken. And meatballs or whatever disgusting ass shit that Subway sells. Chipotle has crappy quality meat from what I remember but it's actual meat.

I did visit the second location downtown and was disappointed with the experience. but the original was great as ever last time I visited (admittedly a while ago, and admittedly very intoxicated)

The ingredients at Chipotle are relatively high quality (or used to be)...they source local purveyors of meat and veggies...unlike Subway where all the food comes precooked and frozen from a factory situated god knows where.

Chipotle is literally a piece of crap. The chicken is absolutely disgusting, can't even eat it (how does that happen?) and the beef is just average at best. I can't understand how anyone likes it.

my vegetarian partner enjoys Beyond Meat burgers so they make sense for us on many levels. veggie options are seriously lacking at Dons and others.

but I would rate their burgers as being noticeably superior to Dons.

Remember getting late night Hero Certified on Queen a bunch of years ago and I swore off that chain forever immediately. Just awful.

I swear I can remember Hero Burgers actually being good when the chain first started up. But yeah, I had the same experience as you. Stopped in at one a few years ago, and their sawdusty burger patty and the disgusting bun it was served on were enough to put me off from ever going back there again.
