Nice! I love these kinds of combos - thanks for bringing this one in. My mom used to do a much simpler version of this with just green beans trimmed and just cut in half if very long, russets peeled and sliced into thick rounds, s&p, then sprinkled w chopped parsley after being drained - drizzle of evoo. I think she would have liked your recipe.
