OT: The M-Fing Food Thread

The best alternative to soy sauce I've ever found was dark soy sauce fwiw. Similar flavour but deeper and less salty, if you're using a wok or otherwise doing high heat stir frying, it gives off nicer toasty flavours than light soy sauce does.

In fairness to light soy, it’s more of a seasoning tool. Dark soy is better for cooking
 
Oh there is no reason for my question other than wild curiosity.
i had seen it on a video and had never heard bout it.
so I went to the one place I thought I would get enlightened and non judgemental reasoning. I know where I went wrong now. 😂

Also makes your sauce or whatever a noticeably different colour, so beware of that
 
I've seen a zillion of his reviews by now. Just as soon as that box opens up, I can almost taste it. It's as close as I can get to eating it every day.
