OT: The News Thread

Anyone have any tips on getting deposit money back from a contractor that died a week after I paid him? The wrinkle is that his entire family died too. It's been in the news. Oops. Does a chargeback on the credit card work?

Did you kill them to back out of a contract?
 
So a woman who has had season tickets to the Denver Nuggets for over 30 years suddenly has them yanked and is banned from the arena for "violations" but the so-called infractions have not been proven to be anything other than allegations. The only things that can be verified are that she first got the tickets for a song back when the Nuggets were garbage and couldn't draw fans and now, the Nuggets can charge a lot more for the seats they just revoked.
