OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

yeah this Lowry injury is giving us a good look at what Freddy can do as the #1 guy. early returns, but looking like he'll be worth the contract he gets in the offseason. makes the idea of moving on from Kyle a lot more palatable.

Siakam seems to be having the toughest time adapting to Kyle being gone and bearing more of the ballhandling load, though his assist numbers are a nice addition there.

Vanvleet has been great, though. And even Norm looks like an actual starter. meanwhile the new bench has been phenomenal.

Terrance Davis is also going to be a stud. Masai truly is a jedi warrior finding these gems late in the draft. Keeps getting 1st round production from 2nd round picks/undrafted free agents while leading a winning program with an elite developmental system.

Terrance Davis has been terrific. Really like his game. Bulldog out there.

Masai is on another level. MLSE gotta do whatever it takes to keep this guy.

Losiing Majai would be terrible for sure. But for him, taking a horrible team like the Knicks in the biggest capital center in the world, might prove to be irresistible.

But man, the job he has done here, has been nothing short of remarkable. Losing him would be worse than losing Kawhi imho.

A man of colour taking the Knicks to glory, might be just too much for him to resist. He sure did his shit here.

why would any competent executive want to work under James Dolan though?

That's the question I keep asking whenever Masai-to-the-Knicks talk starts up.

Masai is way too smart a guy to want to work for James Dolan.

I also believe the guy's sincere when he talks about wanting to build a global brand with the Raptors.

Money talks. Fortunately MLSE has it in spades. Just have to hope Dolan doesn't make Masai an offer he can't refuse(financially).

Tbh. We got our championship. I'm good for life with whatever happens at this point. Need leafs to do the same for me.

Knicks are a wasteland. There's no way Masai wants to leave the mountaintop to start a 5 year process of maybe fixing that shitshow, working under Dolan.

Now, if the Lakers or Heat came calling...I'd start sweating.
