Anyone else see the things the NBA are considering.

78 game season
In season tournament
Play in games for playoffs
reseeding in playoffs.


I don’t mind the ReSeeding. Not sure how I feel about the tournament idea. Seems kind of stupid but who knows.

I'd like to see full details before I judge. I'm fine with reseeding though, there should kind of be a heavier penalty for "load management" and such. If the Clippers finish 5th in the conference because they sit Kawhi and PG for 15-20 games a piece, they shouldn't benefit from a generous bracket.

Not sure wtf an in season tournament is supposed to be though.
 
Shorter season = good
In Season Tourney = intrigued but why?
Play in games? Sure? But should be next four teams in regardless of conference imo.
Reseeding? Yes please, dumb that it hasn't happened yet.

Think FA cup style tourney. Don’t know if that’s good or bad, but that’s what I kinda picture

I like #1 and #4. I guess #1 happens only if they can recoup the games with the tourney. So really I just like #4.

And that's ok. The league is pretty great as is.
 
I personally think NBA might be onto something with the FA Cup style mid season tourney - the actual contenders won't give a shit about it but it would be nice for the shit teams to go all in on. May even energize the tanking teams' fan-bases as well.

No one really gives a shit about the FA CUP or the carabao cup for that matter but they're trophies nonetheless, and the upsets are fun to watch.
 
5-2 without our best player now. a 59 win pace.

both losses were tight road losses to western contenders.

18-19 Raps w/o Kawhi: 63 win pace
19-20 Raps (Post-Kawhi): 60 win pace
 
Watched the Pelicans/Jazz highlights. Oh man, that Donovan Mitchell is sublime to watch. I haven't seen anyone more mobile than that, ever. Hope his legs hold up, cause he does some crazy shit out there. Fun to watch is putting it mildly.
