Masai says he's "looking forward to all the capspace we'll have" next year.
What's the best free agent the raps have ever signed?
Schroder?
Jose Calderon

I believe the question was more, highest profile FA, not like undrafted rookie FA that worked out the best. You dont need cap for that.
I think i was right this time.
Fwiw, Masai isn't wrong. We're actually likely to be one of the few teams with a bucket of cap space depending on what happens with the Pascal trade.
If we don't take back any significant salary (players not on their entry level deal) that extends into next season, we're on the books for 90 million with that covering most of out good players. Expect maybe 95-98 million if we take on someone like Jarace Walker in a Pascal deal.
Scottie, RJ, Jake, Boucher, Dennis, Koloko, McDaniels. Quickley will extend, but I expect us use some cap first and go over with the Quickley extension.
The cap will be 142, with the luxury tax at 176. So we could pretty easily have 40-45 million in cap space to spend if we wanted to and then use the ~27 millie Quickley is going to get and a veteran rotation player with the MLE to bring us up to the tax threshold (which I don't expect us to go into)
There aren't a lot of big names to go after, but I think we'll either be active by taking on salary in trade or picking up a few good players. Claxton, Miles Bridges, Oubre, Melton, Lonnie Walker, Bitadze, Kyle Lowry (pbuh) all interesting names.
maybe we can sign someone almost as good as Siakam.
Aw, you think Zeke is interesting. You're way more interesting in paying a good 2nd option elite money than I am.
I mean, how good do you think Siakam actually is?
OKC is fucken loadedJ-Dub in OKC is the real deal for them. Great piece around SGA and Chet. They have a real chance here to snatch the next BIG name via trade and be a championship team for years.
couldnt the Raps pull this one off for depth
The Pistons and Wizards are finalizing a deal to trade Marvin Bagley, Isaiah Livers, and two second-round picks for forwards Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala, sources tell ESPN
Thats how I see it , our bench is full of expiring crapIsn’t that essentially a salary dump for Detroit?

Just trying to get some bench depth , our crap for not as crappy in returnWhich side of the trade do you want though? I don't see how Bagley fits here (bad defender, some upside but meh, maybe a good rotation big eventually) and Muscala-Gallo would be okayish veteran depth for us, but just okay.
