Im not sure what a late 1st in a weak draft is worth, but im guessing its not Kuminga and doesn't interest GSW, but i understand the point you're making and agree with you.

Oh, it would be multiple picks for Kuminga I'd imagine. Kuminga was just an example of what I'm thinking Masai will look to do though. If there's a star level trade that makes sense for our roster and window (Markkanen maybe....Spider I doubt because of fit...dunno if Quickley-Spider work as a backcourt...2 6'3 guys) then I definitely see Masai checking in on it. Otherwise it will be upside guys who fit the 22-24 yr old timeline of the 3 guys we have in house now.

Looking at that pic.. pascal would have been 17 years old and in his first year of playing organized basketball. 12 years later that dudes a champ, multiple time all star, multiple time all nba, has banked $140m and is on the cusp of a $200m extension.

Fuck I wish i was 6’10 and black.

Yeah, if Gary has a solid few weeks I could see us pry an asset out of someone for him.

Orlando, NOP, Minnesota, Clippers, Suns could all use something resembling good Gary
 
Also,

Pascal makes his Indiana debut tonight against Sacto, and we don't have to wait very long to see what Scottie/RJ vs Pascal looks like, Indiana is back in Toronto on the 14th of Feb and they play again in Indy on the 26th.
