It would hurt the casual fan until the Raptors won 45-50 games again next season.
Don't get me wrong, Lowry was an integral part of a very solid Raptors team last year, but he's absolutely replaceable, especially in this free agent market. If we went into the season with GV-Lou as our PG tandem and spent our free agent money on a significant SF and bench big upgrade, we wouldn't just be as good as we were this season, we would be better. Imo, the difference between Lowry and GV in quality, is about the same difference between Salmons & Lou in quality.
Heaven forbid the big Lithuanian kid takes another step forward as well.
