Cleveland Cavaliers
Interior physicality: When we last did this exercise, I said I had no concerns with the Cavs. At this writing, they are 21-4, so I can’t say my worry level is super high with them right now, but after some conversations with league scouts, a concern circulating is Jarrett Allen’s physicality against big bruisers like the Knicks, Celtics, Heat and, I’d add, Magic. It’s not a new concern. The Knicks dominated Allen and his teammates in the playoffs two years ago, and last year, Allen was hurt early in the postseason and couldn’t play. He is a rim protector and scoring threat in the post, so it would be hard to get back what he does and add what he doesn’t by acquiring a new center. The Cavs’ best bet would be for him to show he can handle those matchups. — Joe Vardon
Hmmmm... .might be a good pickup?

also time for Pelicans to find a home for the 280 pound moose with hammy and calf issuesHard pass on Ingram. Dejounte is a hell of an option if the price is low though as a bounceback play. Gotta imagine that they want to wash the stink off of this situation and reclaim some value on him rather than dump him. Alvarado is interesting as a backup PG. He has the type of attitude and toughness you want coming off the bench and he's pretty okay at both ends as well. There are worse things we could do with the expiring Brown and Boucher deals than use them to take McCollum's veteran goodness and shooting.
Yeah, something like CJ + Alvarado for Bruce + Boucher + Portland's 2nd. Gets CJ's deal off the books for them and they can probably flip Bruce into a late 1st, maybe flip Boucher into a 2nd.
