Yes, but we're not paying the price they're going to want right now. Maybe when this experiment of theirs implodes in a year or two though yeah.

For now, the things we still need more of in our rotation, Middleton does pretty well.

Nah. He's sucked on the back end of back to backs, but when he's playing rested he's averaging 6th man of the year type numbers on crazzzy efficiency.

Assuming Wizards buy him out he's just going to a a contender though, right?


Why do i feel like Masi doesnt get his prices and he holds or he deals Brown/Boucher for seconds and i end up rathr extending them?

He has a player option for next year, unless they're buying out the entire thing...which would be expensive...I don't see why they would. May as well play him within his limitations, and try to flip him in the summer. At minimum he's a good vet to have around the rest of the young guys there.

No idea. Though I could see Boucher for a few seconds and us re sign him in the off season. Shit, I could see the same thing with Brown. The org seems to like him.

With that said, my wild prediction is that we're going to be involved in the Butler deal when it happens, and that it's going to be a 4 way deal with GSW, Miami, Phoenix, and us.
 
What a dumbass comment from Schroeder. You don’t want to get traded, play well enough and earn that right with negotiations in your next contract don’t just cry about trades or demand to be traded to one specific team unless you have that right in your contract. Also, don’t do what Jimmy Butler is doing either, it’s embarrassing.
