I think the group gets a mulligan this year, and next year becomes a massive evaluation year. No need to rush before we see what BBIQ+Pick look like as a core. Everyone that really matters (including Dick, & Ja'Kobe if you're so inclined) are locked in for a few years (RJ is extension eligible, but his current deal has 2 years left after this one, there's no rush to make a decision on him). So use the time we have. Everyone's value goes up if this group wins 45 games and makes the playoffs next year, so just ride with what we have (a few vets wouldn't hurt, but yeah...knowing this front office we probably don't).

The only guy who we have to make something of a decision on is Jake. He's locked in next year, but has a PO the season after that.

2 more after this season, yeah. But if you approach him on extension talks and he points at the shiny new deal Ingram just signed and wants that...well, nah. I like RJ and I think in the right role his efficiency can get back to something resembling post trade RJ, but I'd be shocked if he improved his efficiency and D enough to ever be worth ~40 million to us.

If he just wants to be home and is fine with that high end role player bag, then I'm good with extending him at those numbers this summer.
