OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

I saw an interview with Garrett Temple recently. As long as this dude wants the job i would keep bringing him back as the 15th man until we actually needed the roster spot for someone. The guy is great for the youth we have

Good vet, smart dude. Basically what we wanted Thad to be and wasn't.

CMB into the top 5 is aggressive as fuck. He's kind of OG'ish if OG was more of a 4 and less of a 3, but also couldn't shot. Dude will probably defend 1 through 5 in the NBA. Offensively, he's kind of similar to Julius Randle, again if Randle couldn't shoot from 15 ft out. Decent handles, good at finishing around the rim. There's a bag of guys who I rate fairly similarly. Queen, Richardson, CMB, Maluach, & Newell, that I'm waiting for the combines before I rank. Wingspan and lane agility is going to matter a lot for some of the roles these guys are going to play in the NBA.

Fwiw, my rando high upside swing right now at the 7 (assuming no surprised in my previous top 6) is Asa Newell.

Do you think we are too late for Tre?

Yeah, and he's been serviceable. Deep bench serviceable. But you could definitely have worse guys at practice pushing your starters. Doesn't hurt that he's a local kid as well and still only 24 so maybe even a bit of development left in him.
