Tonight was the Best game of this series by far. And obviously my raps played better tonight . Much less sloppy/careless turnovers, more agressive and stifling interior and perimeter defense, intense physicality, better/efficient rebounding, they fought hard for every rebound, defensive battle, loose Ball, possession etc.
Unlike in Cleveland, they rarely wasted ball possessions after defensive stops. They successfully recovered possession of the ball after making turnovers. They didnt rely often on foul baiting too. Better offensive offensive rebounding, spacing, playmaking, player movement, mismatch/defensive exploitation, Ball Movement, playmaking, breakout/transition offense and of course much more efficient shooting. In the first two games in Cleveland, the raps struggled to make plays, gain Ball possession, limit turnovers, and it was painfully hard for them to enter the offensive zone, find Space and time to make the right plays and take good, accurate shots. Spacing was horrible. Every shot was a struggle effort. Tonight the offensive flow was and made shots effortlessly. Playing at home makes a huge difference, the Hometown crowd gave our team a huge boost.
Veterans like Ingram/poeltl had very disappointing games tonight . unacceptable performance from these two veterans. It was actually the Young guns on this team who carried the raps to victory.What a shame. Vets should provide leadership and lead by example.
Poeltl struggled to get offensive boards on the glass and got dominated in the paint. Ingram took a lot of selfish, uneccessary fouls, couldnt defend, handled the Ball like a Grenade and couldnt score.
Jakobe Walter, Murray- boyles, mamu, Barnes, Hometown hero RJ Barrett, of course battle played very well
They found a new shooter in the depths of their bench when they finally put out Jamison battle on the court. I wonder why he didnt play in the first two games back in Cleveland. What a great shooting in the 4th quarter! So clutch . Hes probably the only pure shooter the raps have. By comparaison the stupid Cavs have like 6-7 of them on their teams already.
