OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

He is junk.
Atkins loves trading prospects to LAD for swingmen/6th starters.

Stripling has been great, but Mitch White is looking more like Mike Bolsinger.

They gave up a couple of interesting SP prospects for White. Maybe next year he can turn it around. Don’t see a use for him on the playoff roster though.

Seattle is decent and it’s a three game series, so could go either way. The SP are pretty close to a wash. Jays have the better lineup, but again, it’s a three game series, the hitters HAVE to step up. Seattle has a pretty big advantage in the bullpen and that’s often the difference in a tight series.

All that said, Jays in 2.

The Jays haven't fared too well against Seattle this season so I hope the Jays bring their A games.

Yeah, anyone can fail in the playoffs but I can’t think of a single guy LESS likely to do that than Manoah.

I mean, there's always a chance he'll come in over-excited, yeah, and give something up or overthrow the ball. But you get that with anyone potentially.

Is Berrios supposedly the Game 3 starter if necessary?

I mean, yikes, I wouldn't trust that 5+ ERA for that game. If he must pitch, if we win game 1, I'd throw him into game 2, and rely on Gausman for game 3 if needed.

Also, White needs to be far far far away from the playoff roster. That guy should never pitch other than in a blowout where we've conceded.

Manoah
Gausman
Stripling (if necessary)

If Berrios pitches in game 3, it means Stripling was bad, so let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.

Give Berrios an inning in the series. He’ll be needed in the LDS.

I'm fairly confident that the Jays will hit Robby around. He hasn't been impressive. If we are talking game 3, that means Castillo has outperformed Manoah which would be super disappointing.
