Not having Gurriel sucks, weird they didn’t take Zimmer or someone instead of Kikuchi but I guess they like Bradley for that defensive role with a better bat and Kikuchi as a lefty if really needed in a match up

2nd lefty in the pen vs defense/bad PR is a tough call. They're a little thin in OF options right now, but that being said, Zimmer is such a bad hitter that if you play him, you're always forced to keep batters back on the bench for him if he comes in too early. It's basically like having a pitcher in the lineup.

Tapia had a decent September (by his standards): .273/.313./.415. If the matchup is in his favour, he’s a decent option.

Agree that Moreno off the bench is a nice move. Especially since the other C is the DH, but even without that, I’d rather have a decent bat on the bench than a second defense-only backup OF. Tapia is probably the only guy that gets pitch hit for anyway.

Kikuchi makes a bit of sense because they only have one LHP in the pen, but do you want Kikuchi on the mound in any kind of leverage situation? I kind of think he’s there to mop up if a game gets out of hand either way, so they don’t have to use any real arms in that situation.
